TRANSACTION COSTS
The Developer is responsible for Property Transfer Tax and Stamp Duty.

Each purchaser bears their own legal fees which are based on a scale ranging between 1.5% and 2.0% plus 15% VAT

BUYING PROPERTY IN BARBADOS
There are no restrictions on non-nationals of Barbados buying and owning real estate in Barbados.

There is no Capital Gains Tax on the sale of real estate.

Non-residents must have exchange control permission from the Central Bank of Barbados in order to buy or sell a property in Barbados. This is generally a formality.
